Weavers Bangladesh is a government recognized Export house in Dhaka, Bangladesh. We are a leading manufacturer of baskets, made from seagrass, kaisa (river grass), date palm leaf, jute, and cane. We have 22 years’ experience in the field of designing and producing handcrafted items.

Our focus is on our customer’s contentment, consistently ensuring high-quality and on-time delivery. Customization in product development is another area in which we are experienced.

Through our work we create job opportunities for women in rural areas who can increase their standard of living by weaving baskets.

We try to ensure that our entire production process, from the design to the selection of materials and techniques, is as respectful as possible towards the environment.

 

As a company we are driven by the passion to solve social problems. And we have chosen business as a mechanism to solve these problems. We aim to improve the lives of our artisans through skill training, creating job opportunities close to their homes and providing work in a sustainable manner.

The company specializes in handmade products for home and garden, using locally available environment-friendly raw materials, both recycled and natural fibers.

 

The choice in recycled materials is very wide, ranging from recycled fabric and paper to packaging materials and cutoffs from garments production.

Raw materials from natural sources are collected by the company in collaboration with artisan groups. The fibers come from renewable sources.

 

JNDP both develops its own products and also executes buyers’ designs.
