We would like to celebrate the past and cultivate our products for the home as conversation pieces. Evolution aims to collaborate, create and sell to high-end retail stores and decorators. We contribute financially to the sources of our inspiration and we aim to embrace sustainable practices. We create because it is part of our DNA.

DESIGN AFRIKA specializes in finely crafted hand woven African basketry, developing functional and sculptural baskets for the global market. Over the years, we have developed close relationships with rural weavers in more than 10 African countries. Successful marketing of these pieces have ensured that these traditional skills are not lost. We ensure that the botanical material we use is not endangered in any way and we encourage our weavers to practice sustainable harvesting methods.

DE STEYL furniture is created and manufactured in South Africa and has a crisp, urban aesthetic that appeals to a design-led, environmentally conscious consumer. Following the success of their modular Play Play range made from sustainable Birch plywood, owner Deánne Viljoen has designed a new system of interlocking storage drawers called 2DO Stackable Storage System™. The products are machined using the latest CNC technology, assembled by skilled craftsmen and finished by hand.

COWGIRLBLUES is a design studio and dye house specializing in the creation of quality contemporary products made from locally (South African) grown wool and mohair fibers. Our pieces are knitted using only the finest quality yarns and are available in a range of sizes. Each item is individually dyed by hand, in our custom colour palette. Bespoke pieces can be created on request.

BELOVED finds its home in the Mother City, Cape Town. Here we hand weave intricate, conceptual, expressive neckpieces, earrings, bracelets and rings using glass beads, precious metal finishing, a needle and thread, and some lovely algorithms. Wearers of BELOVED live all over the world, and delight in finding each other. Our jewelry is also sold in galleries and boutiques globally, and we enjoy making connections with friends and colleagues who find new owners for our BELOVED pieces.
